Remember to always be yourself.
Unless you suck.
Soccer is like Nutella.
The rest of the world clearly loves it and puts it on almost everything,
but here in America we're like, "I don't know, man, it tastes like almonds."

... When did xanga change everything?

Yes, I am aware I have not updated in half a year-ish. This needs to change! Prepare for a very long entry. Or semi-long. I have not decided yet.

So you know how I always overload on credits because I get bored, blah blah blah? Well, last semester was a mistake, because I only took twelve credits and got super bored. So me being me signed up for nineteen credits this spring semester. I am aware that nineteen is the limit before you need special permission from some of the Powers That Be. I was not aware that the "simple" music class I signed up for was a writing intensive, with one of the best professors ever. So yeah, I stayed in that class. Nineteen credits. Finals? I might die this week. I have three finals in a row tomorrow. Including physical geography, which for some reason involves the Circle of Life. Don't ask. It was nice knowing you.

Speaking of school, this marks the last semester I will spend with the wonderful Nancy Johnson. She is exquisite and will be sorely missed. I will no longer read Alexander Pope the same way ever again.

Uhh, I saw Reel Big Fish. Whoo hoo!

I finally have some friends to play video games with up here, and now one of them is leaving and I will miss him. :( However, some aren't. Very comforting to know that next semester, when I get bored as I always do, "Halo?" just need be around the corner and then I will be occupied. Speaking of which, Kelly needs an X-Box and Live and Halo 3. Perhaps over the summer, when I get a job. But definitely am investing in the future.

It has just popped into my mind that it has been over a year since I have watched Eternal Sunshine. That needs to change. Maybe Friday.

Listen up kiddies: just because people are of opposite genders and hanging out does not mean that they are "together" or "doing things." People like to have friends; if that means opposite genders so be it. A boy and a girl can be friends. There's no written rule that says if a guy and girl are hanging out that they must be doing something else. So calm the fuck down.

In other obsessive news, NIN is in the process of being disbanded, after their final tour this year, which ahhhh yeahhhhhh I'm going. Apparently Trent Reznor is getting married to a girl some twenty years younger he met via Twitter, less than a month ago. (O woe is me!) Honestly, either it's just a publicity stunt, or he really has lost all hope, or she's some fangirl that by some stroke of luck happened to be in Playboy. Either way, her waist is really tiny and she's cute/pretty but in some pictures she's kinda... Uhh... Yeah. Hm. Don't know where to go with that without being mean. And she doesn't know how to do eye make up properly and her eyebrows are somewhat scary. Oh, and those bangs are way too short and need to go. Now, I could be really mean, I could say something like, "Trent, dude, you can do better," or worse, but I won't, unlike some of those ridiculously hardcore rabid fans out there. What I just said is tame in comparison. If she makes him happy, then wonderful. Sir Reznor, I wish you all the best. However, if you get divorced within the next four years, I claim the right to laugh and say "Aha. Knew it."

All the little duckies have hatched all over New Paltz. Cue the "Awws" of affection and ducki-ness!

Totally prepared to bitch ass some people next year in RA fashion. Not ready to sit through training with all n00bz. Or prepare myself for questions about mail. Or do lockouts. I love life!

In other New Paltz news, too much shit has happened and I am ready to go home. There are some people I will miss, but a lot that I won't. Drama ensues as soon as school starts. As well as gossiping. Aw, shit. Anyway, ready to get away from it this summer. I won't mention names, but friends need to stop backstabbing and spreading shit each other, especially when things are done and buried with. Stop stirring the pot. Just because one person does one bad thing doesn't give anyone the right to "hate" them forever; many bad things, maybe. There are called multiple sides of a story. And there's something called forgiveness. Seriously: We're all human. We all think we're right. We all look to blame someone. In some cases, yes, someone is obviously wrong; however for the most part, can't we all just try to make the best of it or try to work things out or try to at least understand each other? Time passes by for a reason: to let the wounds heal and to get on with life. (And also because the Earth moves around the sun.) Let bygones be bygones. Sing Kumbaya, not war chants. You have black and you have white; when you add them together, you get gray; and later, no matter how hard you try, you can never get one back to it's true origin. There will be no true black and white; just gray. Lots and lots of shades of gray. It's about time some people up here realize that. And Island: You aren't innocent, this goes for you too. Fortunately you have less people that I dislike :)

Speaking of this makes me want to plug the documentary PLAYING FOR CHANGE. Check it out, and also the songs they recorded. Truly awesome. One Love.

Hopefully that makes up for all that missed time. And if it doesn't you can kiss my ass. More to come.
Live long and prosper.
